"Nice pizza and great service. The waiters were all kind and welcoming. It took some time for the waiter to take the order and for the pizza to arrive BUT they made sure we were satisfied multiple times and asked if we needed something. Always with a smile of the face."
"Excellent and cozy place, delicious food, the pizzas are exquisite. The service was excellent, very friendly and close staff. 100% recommendable."
"Update: They changed the pizza chef, so I can't no longer express an opinion on this pizzeria, hopefully they kept the high standards. ----------------------------- Finally a fantastic pizzeria at affordable prices in Berlin!! I am a food-geek, and probably the almost 1000 reviews on Pizzerias and Restaurants show it! Anyhow today I am here to give a review to PERBACCO, Ristorante&Pizzeria in East Berlin that really surprised me in several ways. Italian starters, pastas, gnocchi etc: the menu is not hugely wide but the things they do, they cook it up to very good standards, so: all approved. The pizza was the real surpise... I usually prefer the Scrocchiarella (Roman-style Pizza) I am not too much of a big fan of napolitan pizza but this pizza really surprised me ! The dough was evenly cooked with the right MACULATURA (the tiny dark spots on the edges), and very vvery tasty (you can feel the long fermentation of the dough), baked to perfection with a mild cruchiness on the "cornicione" (ege) that gives the extra touch....and burrata on top was as fresh as if it arrived the same day! I made a compliment to the waiter, and the pizza-chef came out to say hi.. is a lovely guy from Sardinia, and ( as I also bake a lot of pizza at home) we spent a few minutes talking about flour hydration, baking temperatures, type of flours he uses etc etc, was very interesting also to see that the guy was not afraid of sharing his secrets for this amazing end prouct!! Highly recommended!"
"Hands down one of the best pizzas in Berlin, and I have tried quite a few. The dough and tomato sauce are outstanding. Try the diavola or parmigiana! (:"
"We had the best pizza in a long time. It was my first time here and I will be coming back. Highly recommended. Not forgetting the amazing service we had and a nice table outside."
"We ordered pizza and bambino menü for our daughter. They are all very delicious. Also, house white wine is good! Soufflé is okey but tiramisu is good."
"The simple rust italian modern style of the restaurant make the atmosphere really comfortable, even though the chairs do not have pollsters. Fittingly the register of old wine bottles and family pictures. Adding to the comfort, Italian music plays in the background. For the starter, we´ve let the owner choose from the menu. This cold starter plate had a good balance of tastes and varieties and color. As the main we chose Tortelloni with beef stripes. The ramson filling fits perfectly with the strong taste of the beef (good quality meat) in addition the lingonberry marmalade as the finishing touch, harmonizes the dish elegantly. As the second main we had the Pizza Perbacco which to be honest was not my favorite. It seemed a bit to basic which only the spicy salami was able to make it bit more interesting indulging the high quality pizza mozzarella Fior di Latte. Even though it does not have a strong taste itself. The doe which had been sitting for 72 h was also well done, with a thick outer layer and thing bottom. Personally I would rather take something with more varieties of tastes which harmonize themselves (also spicy is just my thing). The home-made desserts were also incredibly delicious, even though I normally do not eat sweets. The presentation alone was amazing on the plate with the Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and pistachio ice cream. The Tiramisu, after the old original recipe, was so very airy and light. Panna Cotta had the perfect texture and balanced taste of vanilla, milk and syrup. The pistachio ice cream was very soft and seemed to disappear in the mouth. We will definitely be coming back to try more on the menu which has intrigued us. Also the owner showed us the kitchen in which everything gets prepared freshly and handmade. Also should you be interested in trying very good Italian old wine (2000/20001) make a reservation 2h early and tell them that you would like to try these or one of them. I myself am not a wine fan but my girlfriend was very happy to see those and wants to definitely come back to try them. I´ve attached some pictures so you can get an own impression of that amazing restaurant."
"The employees are really nice and accommodating, we came in about 30 minutes before closing and they were still willing to make us food and even brought us out a complimentary salmon dish. Beyond the amazing service the pizza is extraordinarily delicious and was perfect"
